WHAT A RIDE

Friday 8-15-14

Today we decided to ride the Jackson Hole Aerial Tram, but first went to Nora’s Fish Creek Inn for breakfast. If you’re ever in the area stop for breakfast, it’s nothing fancy but they had a real good breakfast. “Of course, not quite as good as at the Dave and Sandy RV Inn”. Then it was on to the tram.

Here the tram is coming in from the top. The ride rises 4139 feet in 15 minutes. We were next in line to take the ride up to the top of Rendezvous Mountain at 10,450 elevation.

And this is just plain good looking!!

I, Dave, made an impulsive decision while on top on the mountain. I thought the ride up in the tram was a little too shaky so I found an alternative way down, a paraglider. I flew in a glider a couple years ago so I figured I should give this a try.

My pilot, Dave, is getting the paraglider ready.

Dave is hooking me up, so decision time is near for backing out. The wind conditions have to be perfect for take off.

Here we are coming in for the landing. Dave said we will land on my butt so keep the legs out straight.

What a ride!!!

When Sandy rode back down on that shaky totally unsafe tram (what a brave women she is) she saw this moose grazing below.

Rain encompassed the Tetons later in the day.

While back in our campground it’s bright and sunny. That’s Ron and Jane’s Lazy Daze on the left, our last Lazy Daze now owned by Karl and Deb in the middle and ours on the right.

Until next time,

Dave and Sandy,
